As part of my wonderful birthday weekend with my mom and dad and Jeremy, we spent the day at the Wolf Mountain Vineyards. Wolf Mountain is near Dahlonega, Georgia. We went to Dahlonega for lunch and to wander around the shops in the square. It was a cute little town - I hope to go back and visit the Gold Museum and gold mine again soon! As cute as the town was, my favorite part of the day was definitely the wine tasting at Wolf Mountain. They have a gorgeous tasting room overlooking the mountains, where we tried eight different wines (some sparkling and some regular). The favorite wine of the group was the Blanc de Brut . J and I also liked the red wine called Howling Wolf. It was a great day and I hope to go back to Wolf Mountain and check out the other wineries in Georgia soon!
On a side note - This is what ensues after you drink 8 glasses of wine. Luckily we had a DD (thanks dad!). Haha, what a fun day!
